This page has links to the funding available from the community benefit schemes managed by Shetland Community Benefit Fund.
The Advanced Grant Scheme, funded by the Viking Community Fund, opened in February 2021 for applications from all types of organisations and groups in the islands, including community enterprises, business and individuals – although there are restrictions for these last two groups. This scheme will end when the main fund opens in the summer 2024 and outstanding funds and projects will be transferred to a new Community Grant Scheme. The main Strategic Funding will also start in the summer 2024, focusing on priorities in the Business Plan.
